Product Overview

Structure Composition

  • One end is a Fork End, which can be secured to lashing fittings, ear plates, or D Rings using a pin shaft.
  • The other end features a Knob Type Adjustment End for easy operation and locking.
  • The middle section consists of two parallel tie rods with a threaded adjustment mechanism, allowing length adjustment between 1080 and 1490 mm. The surface features integrated raised anti-slip knobs, with reverse threads (left-hand and right-hand) built into both ends, allowing 360° hand rotation operation without any tools;

The Turnbuckle Knob Type is a heavy duty turnbuckle designed for container lashing systems, heavy cargo securing, and industrial fastening. As one of the widely used turnbuckle types, it functions as a tensioning device—by rotating the threaded body, the lashing rod can be tightened or loosened to generate the necessary tension that keeps containers securely fixed to the ship’s deck.

This container turnbuckle features a prominent knob end, which can be inserted into the corresponding hole of the lashing rod. By rotating the body, the lashing tension can be precisely adjusted. When used together with other lashing equipment, it ensures containers remain stable during transportation, minimizing the risk of shifting or damage.

OLIPORTS’s turnbuckles are manufactured from heat-treatable steel and finished with hot dip galvanizing, it offers excellent corrosion resistance for harsh marine environments. The knob-type adjustment mechanism not only improves tensioning accuracy but also enhances operational efficiency, making it an essential component in marine and port cargo securing operations.
