Bridge fitting is used to tighten/lock the top corner castings of containers together of adjacent container stacks. They can be used for a width 203-258mm and tightened by rigging the nut in the middle. Bridge fittings are designed to connect adjacent containers, providing additional lateral restraint. They are mainly used for lashing the top – layer containers in the hold of container ships and are also applied in container yards, especially for typhoon – proof fastening.
