The Knob Type Lashing Bar—also known as a container lashing bar or lashing rod—is an essential piece of container lashing equipment used on container ships to secure stacked containers against shifting during sea voyages. This long lashing bar is designed with a knob head on one end, which fits securely into a vessel’s lashing socket or knob holder, while the other end connects to a lashing turnbuckle for applying tension.
